Learn to Row

The Kenai Crewsers Rowing Club holds Learn to Row classes for individuals, age 14 and up, who are interested in learning the sport of rowing or want to improve existing skills.
The Learn to Row introductory class covers the basics of sweep and sculling. Instruction will include terminology, dry land training, boat handling skills, safety information, erging techniques, and rowing fundamentals.
Learn to Row Classes this year are:

  • Saturday and Sunday, June 3rd & 4th from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 or 5:00 p.m. on Bear Lake.
  • Tuesday and Thursday evening, June 6th & 8th 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
  • Saturday June 10th 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The tuition for LTR is $90.00.
BONUS! The 2017 novice crew will get 50% off their monthly rowing fees, so only $30 per month.

So for a total of $210 you can learn to row and row all the way through September!

Also, if you pay for the full summer of rowing class Learn to Row is only $75.
For those who find they love rowing and want to continue to be involved, there are membership dues payable in January of every year.
